1500 Riders Already Registered For Fifth Edition Of Popular Oceanside Cycling Event Tri-City Medical Center Takes Presenting Sponsorship The fifth annual Bike The Coast – Taste The Coast presented by Tri-City Medical Center (www.bike-the-coast.com), a unique cycling event, food festival and sports expo in Oceanside, is pleased to announce that it has 1500 riders already registered for the fifth annual event on November 1, 2014. As in previous years, this event will feature a choice of five bike rides (7, 15, 25, 50 & 100 miles), the Mainstreet Oceanside Street Food Festival, the San Diego County Bike Coalition Charity Beer Garden, and a Sports Expo at the Oceanside Pier. Working with Visit Oceanside, the event has already begun to draw reservations for that weekend. Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside has returned as the presenting sponsor for the 3rd consecutive year. “It has been three wonderful years with Tri-City Medical Center,” said event organizer Jim Curl of Event Media, Inc. “Tri-City Medical Center has been very supportive of our goals: To reach out to the cycling community and to build this event (2200 riders in 2013). “Tri-City Medical Center is very pleased to partner again with Event Media to offer this event as part of our mission of advancing the health and wellness of those we serve by offering to the residents of San Diego County an opportunity to participate in a world-class cycling event. Bike the Coast - Taste the Coast is a good example of the type of event that promotes that goal,” said Tim Moran, CEO of Tri-City Medical Center.
