Teri Announces Building Bridges Event With Pulitzer Prize Winning Author Ron Suskind And A Disney Musical Presentation By The Palomar Symphony Orchestra Transcending language and time, see how one man and one organization are using Disney & music to bridge the gap into the minds of children and adults with autism. San Diego, CA- On October 17th, 2014, Training, Education, Research & Innovation (TERI), an organization supporting over 600 San Diego families with children and adults who have autism and special needs, will be collaborating with author Ron Suskind the author of “Life Animated: A Story of Sidekicks, Hero’s and Autism to bring a special talk, meet the author, and Disney musical event at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Ron Suskind and his son Owen were recently profiled on CBS Sunday Morning in a story about Ron and his wife Cornelia’s journey with their son Owen, who has autism. The breakthroughs that were achieved in reaching Owen and getting him speaking again through his engagement with Disney movies were truly a miracle. Attendees will be treated to an up front and personal talk from Ron Suskind and a special live Disney musical presentation by the Palomar Symphony Orchestra.
