Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside honored with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Marketing and Communications Gold Award in Social Media Oceanside, CA (April 2014) – For the past 27 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) has celebrated the tremendous achievements Boys & Girls Clubs have made in the field of marketing through the Marketing and Communications (M.A.C.) Awards. A bronze, silver and gold award is offered in a variety of categories and for the first time in history BGCA offered the option of social media. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) is proud to announce we have been awarded with the Gold Social Media M.A.C. Award, besting all 1,140 independent clubs across the nation and those overseas, BGCO is thrilled to secure this amazing title. BGCO understands the critical importance of online marketing and social media in order to be successful in today’s business world thus as an organization, they are moving forward in fully integrating technology into youth programs, as well as their marketing strategy and techniques. The Club has ensured that their logo and information is available on every relevant social network including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google +, Foursquare, Flickr, Tumblr and Pinterest.
